Plata Silver Tequila
Hornitos Plata is expertly crafted to bring out a fresh, agave-forward taste that sets it apart from the rest. This silver tequila is smooth and lively, with notes of bright herbs and citrus. From celebrations to sipping, Hornitos Plata will freshen up any occasion.
In 1950, Hornitos was boldly born to commemorate the anniversary of Mexican independence. We then took a fresh take on tequila when we introduced the world to our Reposado, with its distinctive notes of apple and herbs. This spirit was one of the first of its kind and was served to the world decades before it became a common practice. Even now, Hornitos Reposado remains a symbol of those who live life boldly.
Hornitos Añejo is aged in white oak barrels for at least a year, allowing it to develop a smoother, more complex flavor and a distinctive amber color. The process highlights the richness and depth of taste that beautifully complements the agave-forward flavors of all our tequilas, adding notes of hazelnut, vanilla and dried fruit.
To create Hornitos Cristalino, we take a triple-distilled Añejo tequila for extra-smoothness, then carbon filter it, stir it and patiently remove the color while nurturing the essential distinctive Añejo notes—vanilla and butterscotch, rounded with sweet honey— delivering an exceptionally silky Cristalino experience, sip after sip.
Our most highly awarded tequila, Hornitos Black Barrel starts as a premium Añejo, then spends four months in deeply charred oak barrels to give it rich, smoky flavor and a golden amber color. It spends an additional two months in specially toasted barrels for more depth and complexity and a bold taste that embodies the Hornitos spirit.
This exceptional drink is crafted with 100% blue agave tequila, making it exceptionally smooth and mellow. We've taken this already incredible tequila and infused it with a hint of natural lime and salt to give it a unique limey flavor that you won't find anywhere else. With the added zing, this tequila makes a stunning addition to any bar or gathering, adding an extra special touch to your favorite cocktails.
